ORVIN is a college project testing the extent if open-source AI technology. It's goal is to make an AI with general intelligence- something that constantly learns on it's own with human-like capabilities. It currently doesn't stand for anything, ORVIN is just the model's name. The founders say it stands for "Original rapper Vengeful Innocence" (the N is for decoration), however Hannah (the writer right now) refuses to acknowledge that.

Because we can! We thought it would be better to make a small-scale project that didn't have to gorge itself on the whole internet to be trained on what it needs to do. It would give some major bragging rights.

Tyler Clarke, Hannah Atanasio, and Emrald Vermillion are the programmers currently on the project. Hannah manages hiring, marketing, and field research on intelligence. Tyler, a founder, leads website creation. Emrald, another founder, leads model training. More people are being searched to help the project move along. If you want to join, email with your resume!
